2024 Exhibitor's Guide

OREGON WHEAT FOUNDATION BAKING CONTEST

The Oregon Wheat Foundation is bringing back the Oregon Wheat Growers League Baking Contests. This year’s contests will be in five selected counties and are open to anyone ages 7 and up. 


The junior division is for ages 7-13 and will be baking Blueberry Sour Cream Muffins*. Three muffins need to be submitted with the paper liners on the muffins. Place food items on a paper plate and in a plastic bag or wrap. 


The adult division is for ages 14 and up and will be baking Honey Wheat Bread*.  One whole loaf of bread on a paper plate and in a plastic bag or wrap is to be submitted as the entry. No professional bakers allowed to enter.


*Recipes will be provided.

Payment for prizes comes from the Oregon Wheat Foundation and will be mailed directly to the winners. Winners may have their names and/or pictures of their entries displayed in the Oregon Wheat magazine.

2025 UCF Exhibitors 4-H, FFA, and Open Class


Exhibitors

  • Open Class is open to anyone who would like to enter an exhibit or project at the Umatilla County Fair.
  • Open Class Registration Deadline — 5:00 PM on July 15.
  • You must register online if you have over 12 entries.
  • 12 or less entries can be submitted online or by submitting the Open Class Entry Form. (2-sided PDF for printing, also available in the Exhibitor's Guide and at the UCF Office).

 

  • Open Class Exhibitor Check-In — Bring your items to the Fairgrounds on Sunday, August 3, 2025 8:00am - 5:00pm (static entries)
  • Pickup by noon — Sunday, August 10, 2025
  • Drop-off and pickup are at the EOTEC Event Center.

 

  •  4-H and FFA Exhibitors — Please see the 4-H and FFA sections of the Exhibitors Guide for details.

 

  • All Livestock for Open Class, 4-H and FFA Received — Monday, August 4 between 7:00 AM - 12:00 noon and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM ( scales are closed from noon to 5:00 PM).
  • Jackpot Lambs are received on Thursday, August 7th between 7am and 10 am.

 

Open Class Premium Payouts

At the Fair Box Office Windows (Inside the Event Center)

Saturday of Fair 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Sunday (the day after Fair), 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (All Fair Staff will leave by 12:00 Noon)

Premiums $10.00 or less that are not picked up on Saturday or Sunday, will be forfeited. Checks for remaining premiums over $10.00 will be mailed to the exhibitors per the address listed on their exhibitor registration.


UCF Youth Livestock Auction

Please inform your guests and buyers that on Saturday, August 9, 2025 they can enter through the Northeast Gate off of South Ott Rd., before the sale. A buyer pass or other fair admission is required for entry. 

 

  • 4-H Entries — Please see your 4-H Club Volunteer or call the OSU Umatilla County Extension office at (541) 278-5404 if you did not receive the email with the ShoWorks entry information/link by July 1. This is the link you would use to enter your projects into the Fair.

 

Exhibitor Passes (Must be purchased in the Fair Office; ticket booths do NOT sell exhibitor passes)

 

  • 4-H/FFA Leader/Exhibitor Season Pass - $15.00 A person must be on the list provided by the 4-H and FFA offices to receive discounted passes. Please note:  Children ages 10 and under are admitted for free at the Umatilla County Fair every day, so those exhibitors will not receive a discounted pass.
  • 4-H/FFA Parent Pass - $25.00 Each family can purchase up to two Season Parent Passes. 
  • Open Class Exhibitor season pass — $25.00 Available beginning Sunday, August 3 at the UCF box office windows. Exhibitors must present the pink copy of their entry tag to purchase their discounted exhibitor pass which is good for entry and re-entry into the fair for all four days. Limit one per exhibitor.
